Now that the fog has lifted from our mixology event with Agari last Wednesday, we thought it was high time we made it official and announced our new partnership.
We specialise in delivering innovative, managed security and advisory services. We live by The OAT principle®; not something we have for breakfast, but how we enable our clients to achieve a Permanent State of Readiness. This means they will be as ready as they can be for the next cyber incident.
We partnered with Agari so we can get our customers ready and protected against email phishing attacks at scale. It’s well-known that the majority of cyber incidents start with a phishing attack, and the mails are often successfully delivered because the threat actor is able to ‘spoof’ the email domain of a normally legitimate brand. One solution to this type of attack is DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance), which allows companies to ultimately ensure that only authorised email systems are able to send emails from their domains.
With Agari being a founding member of DMARC, and the fact that Gartner has ranked DMARC as No. 6 in the top 10 CISO security projects for 2021, we believe there’s no better time to start to journey to DMARC nirvana!
We recommend Agari’s best-in-class solutions for our customers who want to prevent brand abuse and protect their customers from email spoofing, employees from phishing and business email compromise (BEC) attacks, and to be able to research and resolve employee-reported phishing incidents.
Check out our e-Pranks podcast episode where we interviewed James Linton AKA Sinon_reborn, AKA the Email Prankster, who made pranking international banking institutions, high-profile politicians and even the Trump administration look like a walk in the park. We quiz James on his motivations, methods and how his email scamming spree led to him landing a dream job at Agari's Cyber Intelligence Division (ACID).
